Today I feel much honored to be here.  Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to all the teachers who held this competition，because you provided a stage for us to show our English ability. Then, I want to say I really appreciate the form of this competition, like debate, the speech in the oral examination part and translation in the written examination part. During this course of competition, I think my English ability has been improved. Secondly, I want to express my gratitude to all the contestants who take part in this competition, you are all very excellent and super-competitors. In this competition, we communicated with each other and we’ve learnt something from each other.

Then, I want to talk about my English study. You know, my school is famous for English. So, of course, we have to study a lot of English books. Like SBS(Side by Side), though the dialogues in it seems easy and simple, we have to imagine and develop it with the words and sentence forms we’ve learnt. Besides, I also recommend a good magazine named Studio Classroom. It obtains a huge amount of vocabulary.  So, it can enlarge your vocabulary. When you are writing an article, you will use some nice idioms and words，and your article will be much better.

At last, I want to say every competition is a precious and unforgettable experience, and it will benefit us forever. Thank you.

今天我很荣幸的在这里发言。首先，我想感谢举办这次比赛的所有老师，因为是主办方和你们为我们提供一个展示自己英语能力的舞台。我很欣赏这次比赛的形式，如演讲与辩论形式的口试、翻译等题型的笔试以及最后的辩论赛，在这个比赛过程中，我的英语能力有了提高。

其次，我要感谢所有的参赛选手，你们都非常优秀，是超级竞争对手。在这个比赛期间，我们相互交流并从中相互学习。

接下来，我想谈谈我的英语学习。我们世界外国语中学是个英语特色学校，所以，我们必须学习很多英语书，如《SBS》（Side by Side），它看上去似乎很简单而且对话很容易理解，但是我们要充分发挥想像，并要根据我们掌握的单词去扩展对话，这样就能提高我们的英语对话能力和技巧。还有，我还推荐一本很好的杂志叫《空中英语教室》，它含有大量的词汇。这样，通过学习你就能丰富你的词汇库，当你写文章的时候，你就能把一些好的句型和单词用进去，使你的文章更有文采。

最后，我想说任何比赛都是一个宝贵和难忘的经历。它会使我们永远获益。谢谢大家。
